A day in Berlin

9:00 | Starting the day

The day begins quietly. The BERLIN model slips on naturally, the stainless steel spring hinges adjusting comfortably without pressure or constant repositioning. The look is clean and minimal, nothing giving away what's built inside: clean lines, balanced proportions, nothing distracting.

A man with a bun hairstyle stands on an outdoor walkway, wearing a dark short-sleeve shirt over a light grey t-shirt and a pair of black smart glasses with orange lenses.

11:30 | East Side Gallery

Moving through Berlin, the city unfolds through fragments: reflections in train windows, bicycles crossing intersections, textures of concrete and old walls. Arriving at the East Side Gallery, a simple press on the shutter button captures the scene through the 12MP POV camera – with a wide point of view (wide-angle of 107°) , closer to the amount of detail the eyes actually see in the moment. Definitely warmer compared to holding up a phone.

With a simple “Hey Goya,”, or tap to the temple, the built-in assistant wakes up, and provides additional context about landmarks and surroundings through to the open-ear speakers.

14:00 | Moving through the city

Afternoons move quickly in Berlin. Cycling between meetings, cafés, and streets that constantly shift between calm and intensity, the BERLIN model stays lightweight and unobtrusive throughout the day.

Open-ear audio allows calls, music, and conversations to remain integrated into the environment rather than isolating you from it. Berliner Dom (Berlin’s Cathedral) passes by. Technology stays in the background, supporting movement rather than interrupting it.

Later in the afternoon, a stop at a café feels necessary. Earlier in the day, Goya had introduced the local “Kaffee und Kuchen” tradition – a quiet pause built into Berlin life. Live translation helps navigate the menu conversation with the waiter, in order to choose the tastier cake and coffee.

19:00 | Golden hour

As the light softens over the city, the lake at Müggelsee becomes quieter. A quick capture through the POV camera records the changing reflections and movement of the water – small fragments of the day preserved without stepping outside the experience itself.

At the end of the evening, the frame returns to its charging case, ready again for the next day in motion.
